Job: Entry Level Restaurant Supervisor

Set up and break down event space, ensuring set up according to Banquet Event Order, public spaces are tidied throughout the event 
 vacuuming floors, cleaning walls, windows and mirrors in event space and surrounding public areas. 

  • Ensure supplies are available according to the Banquet Event Order and equipment is set up and functioning properly. Periodically tidy the space, 
    straightening furnishings, and refreshing soiled linen throughout the event.
  • Keep track of event supplies, equipment and carefully store furnishings when not in use, promptly reporting repair and maintenance needs.
  • Pitch in to help with banquet service and attend to guest needs and special requests with prompt “can-do” courtesy.

Job: Entry Level Restaurant Supervisor

Atlantic City Country Club, New Jersey's most historic and prolific golf club is seeking Entry Level Restaurant Supervisor with 1-2 years’ experience in same or similar restaurant setting.

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you would be responsible for assisting management in the direction and administration our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations
* Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance
* Maintains excellence in guest service and quality control of operations consistently to ensure the company mission is attained.
* Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
* Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
* Assist with payroll, purchasing, inventory control, and other administrative tasks as assigned
*Ideal candidate possesses excellent floor craft, superior beverage knowledge, a positive and punctual approach, exceptional personal grooming and a keen attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS
• EDUCATION: High school diploma.
• EXPERIENCE:  One to two years experience in a restaurant supervisory position.
• CHARACTERISTICS:  Have the ability to effectively organize work, communicate well and be management oriented.  Be knowledgeable in all aspects of business and show good judgment. Demonstrates an energetic, positive attitude that is contagious.
• COMPENSATION:  Pay is commensurate with person’s qualifications
• HOURS:  Must have flexible schedule.  Weekends and holidays a must.
