Scotland Run Private Membership Offerings
The Club is looking at a potential transition to a Private Membership.
While we continue the process with our current members, we are also looking for a pulse on new members looking to join.
We have successfully navigated a non-private to private transition before and know what is expected from the membership in terms of facility upgrades as time goes on. If a private model is chosen for Scotland Run, one immediate area we would address is the need for more lockers and a private member bar and dining area.
The first capital improvement would consist of a Men’s Locker House.
Our vision of the Locker House would be a two-story building, one floor being the locker room and showers needed to accommodate the membership size, and the other floor would be the lounge which would include a bar, pool table, card table, possible simulators and plenty of lounge seating to watch the big game or golf tournament. The exact timeline will not be fully in our hands as we must go through the design and permitting process with an architect and the township. But expecting no issues, we plan to construct and be using the new Locker House within the first two years of membership.
In addition to that, we are putting together a multi-year plan on improvements and projects around the course. Examples include tree removal, adding curbing along all tees and greens complexes and overall improvement to the rough.

We aren’t asking for money at this time. If the Club is able to get the needed number of members to join, we will look to collect your Application and Initiation Fee late in October or November, with dues being paid by March 1.
2025 Dues
Full Membership: $8,000 + tx. New Members will receive a $250 Restaurant Credit.
Young Professional (Under 36): $6,000 + tx. Membership quantity limited.
Weekday Membership (Mon-Thur): $4,500 + tx. Membership quantity limited.
Cart Fees
$25 per round. You may also purchase a Cart Pass for the season for $1,500. Walking is permitted anytime for no fee.
Ballamor Golf Club
As a unique amenity in Ottinger Golf, you will have access to a shore club included in your membership as follows (still subject to a cart fee unless you purchase the Cart Pass):
- Ballamor will be fully included October through May 14.
- From May 15 thru September, Ballamor will be fully included Monday thru Thursday after 11am and Friday thru Sunday after 12pm. (Not available for Weekday Members)
- During that same time frame, you can play in the mornings for a $100 trail fee. (Not available for Weekday Members)
Family Access & Fees
We have two options for your immediate family, Spouse/Children (up to 21 years of age) to join or play under your membership:
- No Membership fee for Spouse and/or Children. They would not be an actual Member, nor be able to make their own tee times, but they would not be subject to the five Guest limitation. They can play with the Primary Member unlimited times under the following guidelines:
- Anytime Monday thru Thursday (excluding Holidays) and Friday thru Sunday after 1pm. They would only pay a cart fee.
- On weekend mornings, Family Members would be charged applicable Guest fees beginning at 11am.
- Family Members would only have access to the practice facilities when accompanied by the Primary Member on the Day of Play only.
- For an additional $2,000, a Spouse can be added to the membership to make their own tee times and bring their own guests with the following restrictions:
- Anytime Monday thru Thursday (excluding Holidays) and after 1pm Friday thru Sunday.
- Children would still only be able to play with the Primary or Spouse Member.
- Family Members would have full access to practice facilities at any time.
Guest Access & Fees
We will start with strict time restrictions on the weekends for when you can bring a guest. A member may bring guests anytime Monday thru Friday and after 11am on Saturday/Sunday. For the business, guest rounds are an important additional revenue source, but we do not want guest rounds at the expense of a Member being able to get a tee time. We will over-protect those tee times at first to make sure the membership is accommodated, and if we can offer guest access earlier, then we will make those changes in real-time during the membership year. We just ask that you understand the reasoning is to protect your tee time access.
Bringing the same guest will be limited to five (5) times each membership year. This will not be enforced with immediate family members as mentioned in the Family Access section.
Fees for guests are set at:
1) May thru September: Monday – Thursday $75 | Friday – Sunday $100
2) October thru April: Everyday $75
No F&B Minimums
The Highlander Pub & Grill will remain open to the public. When it comes to a private Members area, the Locker House concept will establish that.
Additional standard membership benefits:
- 14-Day Advanced Tee Time Reservations.
- Access to all Member Events.
- Practice Facility, Bag Storage, GHIN Handicap and Locker* included. (*Based on availability, and prioritized to current members first, until the construction of a new Locker House. Weekday Members do not receive a Locker).
- Golf Simulator included for Members, Guests pay a fee.
- 10% Golf Shop Apparel Discount (regular priced apparel only).
- Food & Beverage discounts in the Highlander Pub & Grill.
- Reciprocity to play at Atlantic City Country Club (fees apply).
